My counseling career extends over three decades within various settings (home-based, inpatient/ outpatient centers, group homes, criminal justice (jails, prisons, transitional, probation/parole offices & juvenile detention centers) as well as faith-based and military.
I am proud of the following accomplishments: a doctorate degree in Counselor Education & Supervision (Argosy University), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Board Certified Counselor (NCC), Clinically Certified Criminal Justice Specialist (CCCJS), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), Master's Addiction Counselor (MAC), QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper Instructor , Certified P.O.S.T. Instructor and Certified Grief Specialist (CGS).
I have a M.A. (Ga. School of Professional Psychology) and B.A. (Talladega College) in Psychology. I serve as Chaplain for WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association /Atlanta Dream). I have published an article to improve treatment services for homicide survivors and co-author of "Even So (Stories of Hope and Encouragement).
I am a Christian & Homicide Survivor.
